A community member has claimed that police pursued the suspects who are allegedly heavily armed, but lost them. The resident urged others who spot the vehicle to contact police.
Sandton police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela confirmed there was an incident in Rivonia but was on his way to the scene and could not confirm details at this time.
