Paws for adoption

SANDTON - The Sandton SPCA is desperately seeking loving homes for this week’s adorable pets.

Snoopy... I wish I had a family and a child as my best friend. It seems my loneliness here never seems to end. I want to go to sleep with a boy or a girl, with a comfy bed and my favourite fuzzy toy.

The organisation is appealing to community members to adopt a pet, but also advises that adoptions will involve a home inspection by the organisation.

Additionally, members will have to pay for vaccination, de-worming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following furry friends:

Tag is a 21-month-old rottweiler. He was found unwanted by the SPCA and is described as friendly
Zeus is a cuddly St Bernard looking for a loving family. He is six years old and was found unwanted by the SPCA
Richie is a three-year-old cross breed. He was found as a stray and is described as very friendly
Snoopy is a one-year-old cross breed. She was found as a stray and is looking to bring her sweet nature to a caring new home
Penny is a silver and white domestic medium-haired cat. She is a one-year-old who was found unwanted and has a loveable personality
Thor is a silver and white domestic medium-haired cat with an affectionate nature. He is around one years old and was found unwanted by the Sandton SPCA.

Ritchie… Where’s the bunny I can smell it from here? Whatever animal it is I can smell it from here. I have a sharp nose and a loud bark, I’m also lovable and give off a child-friendly spark.

Thor… Some say I’m as beautiful as a girl, but I’m as manly as they come. I’m wide-eyed and bushy-tailed and so far from dumb. I look forward to my dinner and a good scratch on the back… did you know that affection is one thing I definitely do not lack?

My name is Tag… Look at my toofies, they so big and white. I also have a brain and I’m oh so bright. I run and tackle, I paw and I lick….. where’s the ball… come on throw me a stick.

My name is Penny… Grey and white fur with green eyes to match, I’m beautiful aren’t I … I’m the perfect catch! With a little meow here and a paw on your leg, I want some lovin’ .. please new mom … I beg.

Hi I am Zeus… Wow I’m a big boy with large paws and a cute face, but I’m a gentle giant and I walk with such grace. How could someone leave me, how can they let me go? With all this love I have to give, how can someone say no?
