Armed alarms, even in the dark

JOBURG - Load shedding conjures up images of dark and dangerous nights in a home with no lights.

 

But Theunis Kotze, general manager of ADT’s Inland region said this did not have to be the case if households were equipped with security systems. “Most modern alarm systems have a back-up battery that activates automatically when there is a power failure,” he said.
