The middle-aged man would inform you that if you want to join you need to set up an appointment to meet them in Sandton where they would pick you up at a temple at an undisclosed location. The Douglasdale Community Policing Forum have had problems with illegal posters and have appealed to the Metro police to assist in arresting the people putting them up.

Edna Mamonyane of Metro police said they take this crime seriously because some of these signs are placed on top of road signs and sometimes cause accidents. She said, however, that the culprits have come up with smarter tactics to elude them. She said they used to send undercover police, but now the suspects are more sceptical. She said, “It’s difficult to apprehend them now. But we are doing our best and our bylaw management unit goes out daily to make sure we keep our city’s streets clean.”
