The Tin Factory to open market
SANDTON – There will be a delicious array of good food, live music and a whole bunch of goodies to stock up on at The Tin Factory’s Market launch this weekend.
While it may just look like another industrial building stuck in the heart of Sandton, The Tin Factory is a location steeped in history, transformed from a textile factory into a modern day design emporium and a thriving venue.
And now, it will house some of South Africa’s finest artisans at one of the most anticipated market openings to happen this month.
With gourmet street cuisine from various food trucks, fresh veggies, herbs and flowers, as well as a craft beer garden, cocktail and smoothie bars and a selection of fresh vegetable juices, it’s bound to be a paradise for foodies.
For the fashion fundis, there will be items from exclusive local designers, gorgeous vintage clothing, jewellery, handbags and fantastic gifting items. There will also be live entertainment and children’s entertainment throughout the day.
The venue is available to host a variety of corporate soirees, exhibitions and private functions during the week.
The Tin Factory Market will be open every Saturday from 9 May at 9am to pm at 20 Archimedes Street, Sandton.
There is no entrance fee to the market.
