Each one, teach one initiative at the Rosebank Union Church

HURLINGHAM - The University of the 3rd Age (U3A) Johannesburg branch hosts an each, one teach one initiative at the Rosebank Union Church every third Tuesday of the month.

On 21 April, the organisation hosted guest speaker, Professor of Paleontology at Wits, Doctor Jonah Choiniere, who had his audience enthralled as he explained feathered dinosaurs from China and their evolution.

The Johannesburg branch was launched in 2001 for senior citizens and retired community members. Daily courses on a variety of subjects are offered by the organisation for members to attend. The organisation also invites new course leaders and people who have expertise in particular subjects or hobbies and would like to share their knowledge with members.

Currently the organisation offers courses on music, art appreciation, computer literacy, philosophy, writing club, exercise class for seniors and many more.
