Domestic Watch teaches ramifications of accepting stolen goods

JOBURG - Domestic Watch's Making A Difference campaign will be hosting a series of meetings in the Sandton area in April covering the topic of Stolen Goods and the crimes that surround property which has been obtained illegally.

Founded by Penny Steyn, MAD Domestic Watch is a platform which gives domestic workers and gardeners the opportunity to fight crime in their areas.

Steyn said, “Spot the error when our children or partner’s family or friends suddenly have stuff that we know they normally could not afford. What happens if you take a tea bag without permission? It can lead to taking bigger things and lead to much worse crimes.”
