Calling all book lovers

BRYANSTON – The Bryanston Library is calling all lovers of literature to their monthly book sale to be held at the library on 28 March.

The project was initiated by Friends of Bryanston Library and is aimed at collecting second-hand books from the local community to reuse at their book sales for a mere R15 – a great way to stock up on reading material just in time for the winter holidays.

“They have a great selection of books,” said Karen Corbett, Friends of Bryanston Library representative. “And all proceeds are donated to the Bryanston Library to buy new books.”

“Children are also more than welcome to join their parents at the sale,” Corbett said. “The little ones love exploring the library and settling down for Storytelling Time from 10am to 10.30am.”

Corbett feels that their group has created such a warm and worthwhile monthly event. “It will be a Saturday morning not to be missed.”
