Holistic-health guru Deepak Chopra to inspire audiences

SANDTON -  Resident Zareef Minty (21) who was on the Mail & Guardian's 200 Young South Africans list, is giving away tickets to see holistic-health guru Deepak Chopra.

Minty, who is hugely inspired by Chopra’s work, is paving his way to shaping the mindsets of youngsters. He is set to release a motivational self-help book in April this year titled Empire, which he said is aligned to what Chopra stands for as a well-known motivational public speaker.

“He is a huge inspiration to me and many others and my book deals with a lot of what he stands for regarding the mission to shaping people’s mind sets,” explained Minty. “I believe it is important that his lessons are witnessed by as many people as possible.”

He said Chopra is an Indian-born American author and public speaker. “He is an alternative medicine advocate and a promoter of popular forms of spirituality, who has been described by the New York Times as a controversial New-Age guru,” explained Minty.

He added that Chopra has become one of the best-known and wealthiest figures in the holistic health movement through his books and videos.
