Pupils show lots of love for animals

RIVONIA - Pupils from Rivonia Primary School have recently opened their hearts to animals.

SHOW SOME LOVE: Some Rivonia Primary School pupils hold their gifts of pet food and toys for the animals of Fora shelter.

The school’s outreach programme, Rivonians on a Mission (Roam), which is organised by the Grade 6 and 7 pupils, organised an initiative to show their love for the animal kingdom.

Pupils collected R6 000 on Valentine’s Day which will soon be donated to Friends of Rescued Animals (Fora) to sponsor dog sterilisations.

A large amount of dog and cat food, bedding, toys, blankets, collars, dog jackets and leads were also collected during Valentine’s month. These will be handed over to Fora with the monetary donation.
