The ceremony honoured academic excellence achieved by pupils in the previous year.
Morag Rees, principal of the college, highlighted that the ceremony was an opportunity for teachers and parents to express their admiration for the efforts made by the pupils.
“It is [also] an opportunity for pupils to take a moment in their busy lives to celebrate the hard work that yielded the distinctions, the honours and the joy that go with striving to achieve the very best one can. It is, of course, an opportunity for students to recognise excellence in one another and to aspire to be like one another,” she proudly said.
Rees also made a special mention of art at the ceremony, with several distinctions attained in the subject.
After the ceremony, teachers got the opportunity to meet the parents of the children and have an interactive discussion.
