Illegal Dumping on William Nicol

A motorist said he saw a truck dumping the soil and debris on the side of the road.

Ward 103 councillor Vincent Earp said the matter had been reported and he believed it was a recylcer who was responsible for the dumping. He said he would follow up on the matter.

Metro police spokesperson Edna Mamonyane said, “We are aware that some of the companies do not want to pay for their dumping sites, if people want to report such matters they can take pictures and report it to us or Pikitup.”

Pikitup said they would investigate this matter.
