Furry pets up for adoption
SANDTON - The Sandton SPCA needs loving homes for some of their pets this week.
The organisation is appealing to community members to adopt a pet, but advises that adoption will involve a home inspection by the organisation.
Additionally, members will have to pay for vaccination, de-worming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.
The SPCA is looking for homes for the following adorable pets:
Bumba, a male Maltese, aged 3, was unwanted by his previous owners. Bumba is described as a very friendly pet.
Faith is also in need of a loving home and she is a female cross German Shepard, who is three years old and was found as a stray. This lovable pet had a tragic accident that resulted in her having her leg amputated.
The SPCA is also looking for a home for Kiwi, a male Terrier who is nine months old and was unwanted.
Tinky is another pet in need of a home and she is a female Daxi aged two who is described as having a sweet nature and was found as a stray. Last, but certainly not least, the SPCA needs a home for two cats, Pinky and Chester.
Pinky is a ginger/tabby/white, domestic short-haired female cat who was unwanted. She is one years old and is described as very affectionate, while Chester is a ginger domestic short-haired male, aged one. Chester was found as a stray and is described as having a lot of character.
