City Power disappoints Bryanston residents

BRYANSTON - The vandalised sub-station on Bryanston Drive is yet to be repaired.

This after residents’ complaints were logged at City Power and Sydney Mphahlele of the utility said their employees would be on site to fix the vandalised sub-station, clean up and remove the litter by 24 January.

According to one resident, Mike Thomas no City Power personnel have been seen at the site. “It is dirtier, nothing’s been fixed and they always promise us they will come and they never do,” said Thomas.

Ward 103 councillor Vincent Earp said the sub-station located in-between Green and Brooke streets in Bryanston has been a cause for concern since last year December.
