There is no guardrail along the stretch of road that intersects with School Street, near the Redhill School Outspan Fields. Any vehicle coming from School Street towards West Road North at high speed and failing to break, is at the risk of easily crashing into the residential wall positioned in front of School Street.
The motorist claimed that there was a guardrail but it had been removed. He added that there had been a number of accidents in the area and he feared that without the guardrail more accidents would occur.
No comment was received from the Johannesburg Roads Agency by the time of publication.
