Speaking at a press conference to deliver the recommendations of the panel, Gauteng Premier David Makhura admitted there were elements of the current e-toll system which needed to be reviewed to address affordability, fairness and equity.
Many Gauteng motorists believed that the panel failed to offer any resolutions, and Twitter users seemed to be confused as to what the panel had reviewed and what would still need to be reviewed.
