Domestic Watch meetings for January

SANDTON - The first group of Domestic Watch meetings this year will cover the topic of trust, and is hoped to add to the fight on crime.

Founder and co-ordinator of the Domestic Watch programme, Penny Steyn said, “At the beginning of each year I try and focus on something really motivational. Trust is such an important topic. It has so many nuances that are personal as well as crime related.”

Steyn added that the meetings would include comprehensive written lessons and the opportunity to share stories to enhance attendees’ understanding of the topic.

The Domestic Watch meetings for Sandton are as follows:

  • Wendywood at the Christ Church Sandton on Wednesday 21 January at 11.30am.
  • Hurlingham at the Rosebank Union Church on Tuesday 30 January at 10am.
  • Hurlingham Manor at Woodlands Park on Wednesday 21 January 12am.
  • Parkmore at the Sandton Sport Club on Wednesday 28 January at 10am.
  • Riverclub at the Sand Road cul-de-sac on Thursday 29 January at 12am.
  • Morningside at Sandton Police Station lapa on Wednesday 28 October 2pm.
  • Gallo Manor and Morningside Manor at Manor Community Church on Thursday 29 October 10am.
