Have speedo, will run

PARKVIEW- In support of prostate cancer, thousands of men will participate in the annual Hollard Daredevil Run on 30 January.

Men will take to the streets in nothing but a speedo for this cheeky event.

The event which is now in its sixth year aims to raise awareness for cancer that affects men, and to encourage all South African men to get tested for the illness. The Hollard Daredevil Run also aims to raise funds for cancer screenings and awareness programmes in disadvantaged communities.

The event starts at the Zoo Lake sports club and is a 5km run in peak hour traffic. Entrants have just a week to enter and all men are encouraged to ‘lace up, show up and man up.’

Registrations will close on the 19 January.
