Cell C banner re-branded once again

The banner, which originally branded the network provider as “the most useless service provider in SA”, now reads “Cell C, the most useful service provider in the country”. “We love you Cell C” is added at the bottom of the poster in the place where the franchise manager of the Sandton City branch was previously criticised.

Mention of the Sandton City store and the franchise manager has been removed from the banner.

The changes to the banner come following the removal of the company’s logo from the banner on 8 November and an application by Cell C for an interdict to have the banner removed.

The banner, located on Beyer’s Naude, has caused much controversy since it was originally commissioned by an irate customer, who wished to expose the poor service of the store.

The case will be heard in court later today.
