Metro police grilled at Zuma’s case

JOBURG - A Metro police officer testified at the court hearing of President Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane, in an inquest into an accident in Sandton where he is considered a suspect.

According to reports on the day of the accident, Duduzane requested a breathalyser test from the officer who said that he did not make the final decisions.

Instead, the officer called his senior officer to attend to the matter because there was a fatality.

Zuma’s lawyer, Gary Mazahan, accused the officer of incompetency in the way he logged the notes from the scene, and of giving inconsistent and inaccurate information about the accident.
