Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police said the CSS Tactical security company alerted the homeowner that his security alarm had been set off.
“The resident went to his place and on arrival he found the security team outside of his home, and the gate for the main entrance was wide open,” said Maphakela.
He said the resident found that one of the windows was broken and found a rock in the room. “Nothing was taken from the room,” added Maphakela.
He added that the resident had installed CCTV camera at his home, however the cameras were not recording at the time.
“It is important that you have all your security systems on when you leave your house,” added Maphakela.
No arrests have been made.
