Community Action Company gives residents a platform
GALLO MANOR - The Community Action Company will be hosting their AGM on 1 October.
Based at the Gallo Manor Police Station, the organisation is built on supporting the police in the area.
Administrator of the company, Estelle Rosenberg said, “The residents continue to assist with donations which enables the Community Action Company committee to carry out its main focus, which is to maintain and service all the buildings which form part the Gallo Manor Police Station and keep it in a good state of repair.
“We employ a full-time gardener who looks after the grounds, and a full-time lady who cleans the offices at the Gallo Manor Police Station as well as the Buccleuch Police Station. The organisation also provides refreshments for the police stationed in the client services office.”
Rosenberg said the AGM will be an opportunity for residents to view the organisation’s financial statements for the past year and offer their suggestions and/or assistance.The meeting will be held in the company’s offices at the Gallo Manor Police Station at 6pm.
