Survey about City Power’s service delivery

JOBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) has launched a survey to assess how residents feel about City Power's service delivery.

Ward 112 councillor Candice James and Ward 102 councillor David Potter told Midrand Reporter that a survey to ascertain residents’ views of City Power’s service delivery is available online.

James said the survey was an initiative by “… DA councillors in the City of Johannesburg. We want to know what residents think of the lack of adequate service delivery from the electricity supplier”.

She explained that the survey was done after receiving numerous complaints by councillors in the City of Joburg, prompting DA councillors to try and gauge the extent of the problem.

Potter said, “So far, as of 5 August, we have received over 1 000 responses from residents in the city concerning the survey.”

He added that data from the survey will be collated and handed over to the city’s executive committee, which includes the Office of the Mayor, Parks Tau.
