Work done at Bryanston intersection is ‘pathetic’

BRYANSTON - The William Nicol Drive and Main Road intersection in Bryanston is in a ‘sad state’.

This according to Ward 102 councillor David Potter who has been following up on the clean-up campaign of the intersection.

Potter and Ward 104 councillor Mike Wood have been trying to get City Parks to clean up the messy intersection on behalf of Bryanston residents and to get City Parks to restore its beauty.

“The work done is pathetic,” said Potter.

He added, “The simple suggestion to remove the stones, dig the islands a little deeper and replace the stones in a square block was ignored.”

Potter said all he wanted to know was what the depot planned to do at the intersection.

No comment was received from City Parks by the time of publication.

However, Potter said City Parks assured him that a full team will be deployed to resolve the long standing matter.

He added that City Parks had informed him that he would be provided with a report on completion of the task.
