Community members are invited to look into adopting the adorable animals but will be subjected to a home inspection by the organisation.
Members looking to adopt will also have to pay for the vaccination, de-worming and sterilisation of the animal, all of which are compulsory.
This week, some of the adorable cats and dogs available for adoption include:
Candy, who is a four-month-old chow/Labrador female who was found abandoned. Candy has also been described as playful and cute.
Angie is a cute Maltese female aged four, who is also looking for a loving home.
Jeff, a 10-month-old cross breed male, was taken in as a stray by the organisation. Jeff is also described as adorable and very active.
Stella, a collie/German shepherd, is a friendly female aged two looking for a loving home.
Also looking for a loving home is Luke, a ginger/white domestic short-haired cat who was taken in as a stray. Luke is 18 months old, male and would make a great pet.
Finally, the SPCA is also looking for a home for Tippy, an 18-month-old grey female domestic short-haired cat, described as loveable and ready to be an addition to a lovely family.
