No prosecution for Zuma’s son after fatal Sandton crash

SANDTON - President Jacob Zuma's son Duduzane will not be prosecuted following his investigation of culpable homicide in Sandton.

This according to a report by Times Live  on 17 July.

The report said the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) had taken the decision not to prosecute Duduzane due to insufficient evidence.

However, NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube said the incident would be referred to a magistrate for a formal inquest, to determine whether the accident was caused by human error.

Earlier in February this year, Brigadier Neville Malila, Gauteng police spokesperson, said the Bramley police would be investigating Zuma’s son.

The case was then transferred to the Department of Public Prosecution to determine whether there was a case to pursue.

Duduzane allegedly crashed his Porsche into a taxi, leaving one person dead and two others injured on Grayston Drive on 1 February this year.
