Road closures at the KayaFM relay

This is due to the Kaya FM 67km Relay for Mandela Day being hosted at the Waterfall Estate Polo Fields.

From 6am to 3pm Woodmead and Maxwell drives will be closed.

The event, hosted by City of Joburg will see more than 15 000 participants help raise funds for The Nelson Mandela Foundation, which contributes to various programmes such as literacy initiatives and food security.

With a worthy cause in mind, organisers have provided residents in the area with resident route access permits, but all motorists are advised that every effort has been made to ensure as few non-participants as possible will be inconvenienced during the race.
