Designer sunglasses stolen from motor vehicle

INANDA - A pair of designer sunglasses worth R2 492 were stolen from a parked vehicle.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley Police, said the man had parked his car on Rivonia Road for two hours and when he returned he noticed that the driver’s door had been broken into.

“He left the vehicle with all doors locked and windows closed,” explained Maphakela. He said the driver’s door had been visibly damaged by a sharp object.

“There were no CCTV cameras where the vehicle was parked, however the premises are guarded by security officers and no one saw anything suspicious,” added Maphakela.

The man was advised to get the car checked for fingerprints.

No arrests have been made.
