Gautrain bus service strike in Sandton
SANDTON - Gautrain has announced on their Facebook page that the Gautrain bus services would be disrupted on 25 June.
There is an illegal drivers’ strike happening in Sandton.
Bus commyters have been urged to make alternative arrangements by Gautrain.
However, train services will continue to operate as normal.
The public have expressed their various views about the illegal drivers’ strike on the Gautrain Facebook page:
Felicity Van Jaarsveld said, “This is all killing our country. Just one more reason why I stopped using the train.”
Tinus Kruger said, “It’s great that gautrain informs the users up front that there is a strike but you should have a backup plan for the train users from the station to the office via the bus service. If this keeps on happening a lot of users will have to re-think using Gautrain in the future.”

Iamso annoyed about this strike. I spend a lot of money on the bus. I agree with the other lady. There should be aback up plan.
Many users will stop using the Gautrain and bus. Ithink itspathetic. Think of all the fellow
South Africans that use the Gautrain and bus

Hello, for the 20August 2014
Here Iam again. Once again commenting on the strike. Please I ask you to put a contingency
plan in motion. It is most annoying. We except the best service . Why can’t they negotiate and not go on strike. They disrupt the service. Unacceptable.
