City Parks leaves behind a big mess
MORNINGSIDE - Resident Steve Wynne wants City Parks to clean up after themselves.
He said the entity barely mowed or cleared the verges outside his property. However, he said when City Parks eventually comes to his area to cut grass and trim dead branches off the trees, they leave behind a big mess.
Wynne said, “City Parks leave behind their leftovers from the mowing and cutting. Right outside my house is a pile of all the dead plants and branches that they have just left there.”
He is most concerned that people see the heap of dead branches and grass and think it is a dumping site. “People just dump their litter on top of the heap of dead plants and grass outside my house,” he said.
“It is disgusting. Our gardener collected a whole refuse bag two weeks ago and there is just as much again. We pay our rates and expect some service.”
