Pupils, parents and community members were welcomed to the school to enjoy various food stalls, art activities and a playground for the little ones.
The primary school’s director, Olivier Sole said, “The annual school party of Lycée Jules Verne, called fête de fin d’année (holiday season) is the main event of the French school.
“Every year, to celebrate the end of the school year, teachers, parents and students get together to have fun,” he said.
There were jumping castles, giant slides, face painting and inflatable sports sections for children, and parents enjoyed various song and dance shows performed by pupils.
“The fête is an opportunity for the school to do its fundraising. All the collected funds are invested in the next year’s events and to upgrade school facilities,” said Sole.
