Discover your life-mission with Chabad’s new course

SANDTON - Chabad House welcomes the community to the latest Jewish Learning Institute course of self-discovery.

According to Rabbi Ari Kievman, the new six-week course can lead to deeper insights and a greater understanding of life, better relationships with yourself, others, and with your higher power.

This course is based on the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, (the Hasidic, spiritual sect of Judaism) and is about seeing life through a new set of lenses – a change in perspective through which a radically more meaningful world emerges.

“Together, we will take an elevator ride to the heights of what is possible, exploring a unique outlook [at] life and [the] powerful teachings that have inspired so many to make this world a better place,” said Kievman. “Come with an open mind and you will leave with an open heart.”

Kievman said the course will encourage people to learn to see everything about themselves, people, and every circumstance in their lives “from a profoundly higher, deeper, richer, and more positive perspective”.

The Paradigm Shift course explores a new perspective on human failure and why it is needed to achieve the highest forms of success; the essential goodness and perfection of every individual and of every situation; and discovering one’s life mission and purpose.

The course begins on 5 May with three course options: Mondays at 7.15pm, or Tuesdays at 9.30am at Chabad Savoy; or Wednesdays at 7.15pm at Chabad’s Goodness & Kindness Centre, Stella Street, Sandton.
