SANDTON - Catch a glimpse of world-class photography at Stephan Welz & Co in Sandton.
Ex-Drum photographer Jürgen Schadeberg will be previewing his works of art at a Fine Art and Design Auction until 6 May.
There will be no charge to view the exhibition-style preview show of paintings, photographs, jewellery, furniture and other decorative items. Schadeberg’s Dolly Rathebe portrait will be on display and two photographs of Nelson Mandela.
Other notable pieces to be viewed will include a rare portrait by South African modernist painter Alexis Preller of his mother, a Russian silver drinks set designed by Carl Faberge, four outstanding paintings by South African impressionist Gregoire Boonzaier and many others.
