Just dance with Jenny
MORNINGSIDE MANOR - Ernest Ullmann recreation centre's dance teacher, Jenny Rahme held a series of her annual show, Just Dance at the Victory Theatre in Orange Grove.
One of the shows was a charity event where more than 400 people were invited from old aged homes, disabled homes, children’s homes and orphanages.
According to Rahme, attendees were treated to a meal and drinks before the show, and Easter eggs and cake after.
“The response from the homes was overwhelming and they all thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the show and outing,” said Rahme.
“This is way of sharing the wonderful experience of attending a theatre with music and dance with children and adults who would never have the opportunity to do so.”
She said she had amazing support from her teachers, parents and students.
“This is what makes a production of this size with over 120 students and over 400 costumes such a success, after just two months of preparations and rehearsals,” she said.
