Bryanston High honours top achievers

BRYANSTON- Bryanston High School awarded white honours blazers to a number of its pupils for achieving excellence in academics, sport and cultural pursuits.

Brothers Brandon and Luke Schlebusch received this honour. Brandon was awarded his white honours blazer for full colours in cross country, athletics, tennis and for receiving national colours for duathlon.

He also received full colours for councillorship. His brother Luke was awarded for his full colours in cross country, athletics, tennis and for receiving national colours in duathlon. Other recipients were Mzamo Mnguni for full colours in athletics, cross country, hockey and councillorship, and Samantha Ritchie for her full colours in hockey, hockey umpiring, athletics and councillorship.

A white honours blazer is also awarded for academic excellence. Three pupils received their white blazers for achieving six or more distinctions in Grade 11. Stefan Minkov and headboy Grant Miu achieved six distinctions while Kiara O’Connell obtained nine distinctions.
