A vision for a joyful life

JOBURG - Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre wll host western Buddhist, Nun Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang to speak on a vision for a joyful life.

She will discuss the discovery of powerful and practical methods to increase happiness and become a confident and joyous person.

According to resident teacher at the centre, Kelsang Mila, this is the third time Kunsang has visited South Africa to speak about Buddhist principles.

She is the worldwide deputy spiritual director of the New Kadampa Tradition.

“She is a warm, caring and inspirational person who is much-loved around the world and has helped thousands of people make their lives meaningful,” said Mila.

“She touches the hearts of listeners with her compassion, understanding and her wonderful sense of humour.”

Mila said she has had the good fortune to attend her teachings at international festivals around the world, and to have hosted her on each occasion when Kunsang visited South Africa.

She said Kunsang will explore precious and timeless methods that can awaken people to an extraordinary vision of who they can be.

No one is being paid for this talk, and all the money goes towards the building of Buddhist temples all over the world.

These Temples are dedicated to world peace and everyone is welcome to visit them and enjoy the peace and tranquillity they provide.

The talk will take place on 6 March between 7pm and 8.30pm at the Hackle Brooke Conference Centre, 110 Conrad Drive, Craighall Park
