Prevent crime with Domestic Watch this year

SANDTON - Domestic Watch is ready to take on another year of lessons and training in safety and prevention of crime for domestic workers and gardeners.

According to Domestic Watch and South African Police Service training consultant Penny Steyn, the programme helps to inspire better relationships with employers, security infrastructures, companies and the police. Individuals who attend the classes do the right thing by passing on information about criminals, potential and actual crime, even if it includes reporting family members.

“By having generosity of spirit we all can make a difference to our country, our family, and stop the horrors or at least curb some of them by doing the right thing,” said Steyn.

The programme takes place at different locations throughout Sandton, and welcomes all workers from the area to join in and learn.

21 January: 10am at Woodlands Park on Woodlands Street in Hurlingham Manor.

22 January: 9.30am at the tennis clubhouse on Hilton Road, Linbro Park and at 11.30am at Christ Church, corner Roosevelt and Haldane roads in Gallo Manor.
