ER24 communications manager, Werner Vermaak said, “According to bystanders on the scene the taxi collided with a Volvo before pushing the vehicle into a stationary vehicle at the intersection. The taxi overturned and came to a standstill on its side in the intersection.”
He added that paramedics from numerous services assisted the injured and transported them to various hospitals in the area.
Traffic lights were been damaged in the collision and my cause further traffic delays during the day. “Paramedics from ER24 caution motorists to take extreme car when approaching this intersection,” said Vermaak.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.
