Paramedics share Christmas spirit
SANDTON - A young boy got a special treat on Christmas Day.
ER24 paramedics Yvonnne Guseynzade and Nathan Govender were patrolling the Sandton area when, according to Parkmore resident Tania van Heerden, her son Maximilian van Heerden (10) managed to find a moment to peek inside their ambulance.
The paramedics showed the fascinated Van Heerden how all the medical equipment worked and then took a photo with him.
Van Heerden appreciated the time the paramedics took out of their busy day to connect with him, and invited them into his home for Christmas lunch. However, they were forced to decline as they were on call. Van Heerden thanked them for the wonderful work they do, and wished them a Merry Christmas as they headed off.
