Redhill pupil scores 10 distinctions

SANDTON - Redhill High School matriculant Dean Bunce obtained an outstanding 10 distinctions for his final examinations

Redhill High School matric pupil Dean Bunce has made his school proud with his final examination results.

Bunce received distinctions in mathematics, advanced programme mathematics, English, life orientation, Afrikaans, business studies, accounting, History, physical science and mathematics paper 3. He is in the top one percent of all Independent Examination Board candidates who wrote the 2013 National Senior Certificate examinations for accounting. He believes he has far more opportunities than his parents ever had. He also acknowledged being fortunate enough to receive a private school education.

Bunce feels he is empowered with information about the possibilities for his future and that he can make more considered choices. This year he plans on studying actuarial science at either the University of Cape Town or at Wits University. Bunce has already been accepted at both tertiary institutions.

Redhill High School obtained an overall 100 percent pass rate for their 39th consecutive year. Fellow pupils Emma Jordi, Jessica Koen and Adam Ruff received nine distinctions each in their final examination results. The school is proud of their pupils’ achievements and they are looking forward to another year of great achievements in 2014.
