Pro-Athletico Soccer School takes on 2014

PRO-ATHLETICO Soccer School founder and coach, Chris Dhlamini is looking forward to a great year.

“This year is going to be an even better year than last year,” he said. This comes after Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana captain, Itumeleng Khune attended the pupils’ prize giving event last year. “His presence at the prize giving ceremony really inspired the players,” said Dhlamini of Khune who won the 2013 Sports Star of the Year Award at the South African Sports Awards.

The soccer school caters to children from four to 10 years old. Dhlamini said there had been a number of parents who wanted to enrol their children at the school. “We still need the support from sponsors to keep the club going,” he added.

Practice kicks off on 8 January at Sandown High School. “This training day will serve as a warm up session for the pupils to get ready for the year ahead,” said Dhlamini.
