Lessons from Lascaris

Penguin Books launched Lessons from the Boot of a Car by Reg Lascaris.

The book launch was held at the TBWA Auditorium in Sandown Valley Crescent, and Lascaris’ friends and colleagues were there to support his achievement, as well as celebrate the 30th anniversary of his well-known advertising agency, TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris.

Portfolio Penguin publishes distinctive books in the fields of management, leadership, and marketing, among others.

In the book Lascaris tells the story of how he literally started his company from the boot of a car. The narrative is intended to encourage the novice entrepreneur to make a start and to seize all the opportunities that come along.

Lascaris referred to the book as a story for “the captains of industry who are currently corporals”.

“It has its lighter moments with some instructive elements here and there, but essentially it is a book of incitement,” said Lascaris.

“Not everyone is born to be an entrepreneur. But even if you never own a business it is possible to own your job, grow it and get more fun out of it. If you are that person, this book is for you.”
