The park team at Poplar Park is planning an Easter Picnic from 3pm until dusk on 18 March.
The public is invited to support the initiative where they can hear local musicians perform and enjoy a festive social atmosphere.
Food stalls will also be available and an Easter egg hunt will take place for the littlies.
