Family Fun Day

Community members are invited to come and enjoy a fun-filled day under the sun with their picnic baskets and blankets.

The event will start at 11am and end at 3pm. There will be a pirate jumping ship, a face painter, boerie rolls and balloons.

“We are also hoping to present a R10 000 cheque to the family of the woman who was killed in Parkmore,” added Kate Herbert, from the Parkmore Community Association. “This is the first of such an event in the park and we are hoping to make it an annual event. It is part of my campaign to bring play equipment to the park.”
