Theatre welcomes Two in the bush

SANDTON - Two in the bush, a comedy about the lives of two less than successful actresses takes to the stage at the Mutual and Federal Theatre on the Square from 24 June to 20 July.

The show which stars Kate Normington and Ilse Klink is a collection of hilarious sketches and beautiful music strung together.

The piece is an excuse for two actresses to unleash the torrent of their inspiration, and invite everyone else to join them, while also suspending their codes of ethical and moral conduct for as long as the show lasts.

Ilse Klink and Kate Normington play a number of characters and sing some beautiful songs under the musical supervision of Rowan Bakker.

The piece has been censored, judiciously edited and corralled by the funny and talented Russel Savadier, and bringing up the rear is the brave and equally illustrious Jaci Smith, who has been quoted as saying, “Directing Ilse and Kate is like trying to herd cats”.

Bookings can be made by calling the theatre’s box-office.
