This according to eNCA online after CCTV footage showed a silver Mercedes Benz with three armed men inside, pull up at a driveway.
In the footage on the night of 17 May, an electric gate is seen opening. A white vehicle then reverses outside and the gate closes. As the gate closes, a silver Mercedes Benz pulls up behind the white vehicle in the driveway.
A man gets out of the Mercedes and opens the driver’s door of the white vehicle and pulls the man out. Other suspects emerge from the silver Mercedes and search the white vehicle.
A woman appears on the other side of the electric gate and opens it. One of the suspects then walks onto the property and takes the remote, as well as what appears to be keys from the woman’s hand.
The suspect pulls the woman in the direction of the house, and another suspect heads in the same direction while pulling the man along. The third suspect follows behind and also heads in the direction of the home.
The suspects are said to have eventually walked away with laptops, jewellery and cellphones which were stolen from the house.
The Linden Police responded to the armed robbery and an investigation is under way.
The gang has also struck in Parkhurst and Greenside.
