Monte paints the town green
MONTECASINO- The Montecasino Piazza was transformed into the magical Emerald Isle for Montecasino's first-ever Irish Festival.
Guests turned up in white with a touch of green for the Irish Variety Concert, which was the biggest event of the festival.
It was truly the luck of the Irish that brought sunny and warm weather on the day.
While sipping on pints of Guinness, guests were treated to a surprise Irish dancing flash mob.
And the entertainment did not stop there.
5FM DJ and TV personality, Gareth Cliff was the host of the concert which included the likes of Mpho Pops, Irish tap dancers, South African Tapsula dancers and classic and contemporary Irish music, with performances by popular Irish bands, Celtic Belt and Ballyhoo.
The Montecasino Irish Festival was the perfect addition to St Patrick’s Day festivities, and after the variety concert guests were ready to paint the town green.
