Beauty and the Beast – with a twist
THE first pantomime produced by The Barnyard Theatre launches at the Rivonia Barnyard.
Barnyard Theatre Productions presents Beauty and the Beast, a fun-filled twist on the traditional fairytale. It is a large-scale, imaginative theatrical show based on the classic written in 1740.
This pantomime from Dubai is directed by Juan Boshoff who has also produced Kidz Rock.
This version of Beauty and the Beast features beautiful sets, magical costumes and a 20-member cast featuring some new voices on the musical circuit.
Audiences can prepare to meet Belle and her dysfunctional family, a scary but loveable Beast and a whole chorus of madness in a majestic castle with adaptations of familiar songs by the likes of Celine Dion and Robbie Williams.
This production promises to dazzle and delight audiences from eight to 80. It is surprising, appealing, and strangely familiar.
