Brescia celebrates top matric results

BRESCIA House School has rejoiced in the exceptional results of its 2013 matriculants who achieved a 100 percent pass rate, once again.

Sixty-four pupils passed with entrance to an undergraduate university degree course, while one passed with entrance to a tertiary diploma course.

The school achieved 201 distinctions from 65 girls.

Kendyl Renzulli was placed in the national top one percent of achievers in accounting, business studies, English, geography, and life orientation.

Renzulli and Christin Thomas were placed on the Independent Examination Board’s outstanding achievement list for having achieved within the national top five percent of pupils in six or more subjects.

Kirsten Young was placed on the board’s commendable achievement list for having achieved within the national top five percent of pupils in five subjects.

Renzulli and Thomas, along with Michelle Mostert, Michelle Njoroge and Caroline Fairon, each achieved eight distinctions, while Young, Jessica Stride and Jing Ying Luo achieved seven distinctions each.

Samantha Corcoran, Courtney Farland, Kirsty Mackay and Jessica-Leigh Paul each achieved six distinctions.

In a statement, the school extended its warmest congratulations to their matriculants and their teachers, both current and past.
