Chad Jones, a former software developer with his impressive dance moves and infectious personality, has taken the internet and television by storm as contestant on Tropika Island of Treasure which aired its first episode on the 28th of September 2024.

After quitting his day job, Chad turned to social media and quickly amassed a following of 3.9 million on TikTok.

His journey to fame began with a simple video of himself and his parents dancing to an Amapiano song. This unexpected viral moment propelled Chad into the spotlight, showcasing his natural talent and charisma.

Chad’s success can be attributed to his genuine passion for dance and his ability to connect with audiences on a personal level, which caught the attention of the producers during the Tropika Island of Treasure audition phase. He has used his platform to inspire others to follow their dreams and embrace their individuality, this was evident when he was featured as the dance master on the popular reality show Dance Yo Dumo, where he mentored aspiring dancers and prepared them for the judges.

As he continues to rise in popularity, it is clear that Chad Jones is a force to be reckoned with in the world of entertainment. He is also starring in the Netflix amapiano love drama titled PIANO LOVE and will be featured in an Afrikaans movie Strooi for KykNET later this year.

“I’ve become more comfortable on camera and realized I can overcome challenges with determination. I have focused on my appearance for the show and believe that I am achieving my goals. It is a great experience to be part of a reality TV series and has helped me step out of my comfort zone. I have learned that with hard work, determination, I can accomplish anything and I am really proud of the progress I am making both physically and mentally.” – Chad Jones

The main reason he decided to participate in Tropika Island of Treasure is his love for the show and the beverage, and of course the grand prize of a shared R1 million and a Suzuki Jimny. It was a dream come true for him to be considered and he believes that his social media presence could help him gain more exposure on the show.

Win big: Fans at home can also stand a chance to win big by buying a Tropika promo pack and following the entry instructions. There are thousands of smoooth prizes up for grabs like Samsung Freestyle Smart Projectors, a trip for two to Zanzibar and the grand prize – a 5-door Suzuki Jimny! And that’s not all, predict your winners and catch all the action online.
